What is track Lighting?
As its name suggests, track lighting is a lighting facility that supplies electricity to individual lighting fixtures using posts and rails attached to the ceiling. Other lighting fixtures screw a light bulb into a socket to connect the lamp to the electricity and light the light bulb inside. In the same way, all lighting fixtures, not just light bulbs, are connected to the Track to capture energy.

Qualified LED Downlight manufacturers !
Light emitting diodes (LEDs) are extremely popular in many homes throughout Australia due to energy efficiency and long life expectancy. They produce a strong light with only a small wattage, using almost 85% less power than other kinds of downlights, and almost 50% less power compared to fluorescent lights.
People choose LED Downlights for the following reasons:
l They have an estimated lifespan of 25 years
l At the end of its lifespan it will still emit 70% of its original brightness, instead of dying completely
l They are environmentally friendly, with no hazardous mercury
l They don’t heat up as much as other downlights
l Easy to retrofit
l Come in a range of switchable colour temperatures from warm white to cool white to suit any home or area
l Energy star product
l Halogen downlights are being phased out
l Compatible with smart system
LED downlights are a more costly option when compared to other lighting systems on offer, but the reduction in electricity use is substantial. The difference is rapidly paid off in savings, often in as little as a year’s time. Combine that with a much longer life and less drop off in intensity and you are clearly better off with an LED downlight installation.
What are downlights?
Downlights are lights that are recessed into an opening in your ceiling, making them a less intrusive option than your traditional lighting.
Downlights should typically be installed by a qualified electrician due to the nature of the installation. Once installed, downlights shine light in a downward direction, diffusing either a broad or narrow light below.
LED downlights on the other hand use a similar setup, however the light themselves are different. An LED, (Light Emitting Diode), is energy efficient and longer lasting compared to that of traditional halogen lighting.
